How We Challenged the Standard
The Lewmar shallow water anchor is a credible all-electric, saltwater-grade challenger in a category built on hydraulics. Here is exactly where we win.
We Questioned Hydraulics
For years, hydraulic systems were considered the only way to build a serious shallow water anchor. We proved an all-electric platform could deliver dependable performance with fewer components to install and maintain.
No pumps. No hoses. No hydraulic fluid.
We Didn't Chase Complexity
As the category added more features and automated functions, we stayed focused on building a shallow water boat anchor that's dependable, intuitive, and ready when you are.
Built to fish. Not to fuss with.
We Started with Anchoring
Long before the boat anchor pole became a category, Lewmar was engineering the systems boaters trusted to anchor with confidence. That heritage shapes every shallow water anchor system we build.
75+ years of anchoring expertise.
Two Lines. One System.
From a no-power gateway to a tournament-grade flagship, every Lewmar anchor shares the same purpose-built mounting ecosystem and proven fiberglass spike anchor technology.

Check Your Mount Before You Check Out
Your boat's transom determines how your boat shallow water anchor is installed. Some boats can mount directly, while others require a mounting bracket. Use the guide below to make sure you have everything you need before checkout.
- Direct Mount Compatible
Flat Transom
For boats with a flat transom, free from trim tab or outboard motor interference, and interior access, your anchor can mount directly to the boat with the included sturdy mounting plate — no additional mounting bracket required.
- Mounting Bracket Required
Curved or Shaped Transom
If your transom is curved, stepped, or lacks sufficient mounting space, you'll need a mounting bracket for proper installation.
Explore Mounting Brackets - Jack Plate Mount Recommended
Existing Jack Plate
Boats already equipped with a jack plate should use the jack plate mounting bracket for a clean installation that preserves the transom.

Pontoon or Deck Boat
Pontoon and deck boats require the pontoon mounting bracket for proper positioning and performance.

- Easily transfer your anchor between compatible boats
Already Have a Bracket?
Good news! All Lewmar shallow water anchors use the industry-standard four-hole mounting pattern — direct drop-in compatibility with existing Power-Pole® and Minn Kota® stick and pole anchor bracket setups.
- Direct drop-in fit for industry-standard 4-bolt mounts
- No drilling or transom modifications required
- Reuses your existing bracket and mounting hardware
